As part of the Coaching Development Programme for Ireland (CDPI) Coaching Ireland, in partnership with Cycling Ireland, train tutors. Tutors play an enormously important role within every National Governing Body, specifically in the design, delivery and review of coach education programmes. Their influence is immense and their responsibility to improve the number of coaches and the standard of coaching is a challenging and deeply rewarding one. Cycling Ireland Tutors play a pivotal role in the delivery of our Coach Education Programme. With the recent development of our Coach Education Programme Cycling Ireland is looking to expand our Tutor workforce to facilitate this expansion.
The dates for Cycling Ireland Tutor Development Course have been announced:
· October 20th and 21st
· November 10th and 11th
· November 24 and 25th
Duration: The course comprises of 3 weekends (48 contact hours), structured distance learning tasks and tutor practice. You will be required to attend all 3 weekends in full. Course will take place each day from 9am till 5pm.
Entry requirements: Entrance to the tutor course is based on nomination by Cycling Ireland. You will be required to read the attached Tutor Training Criteria in full and complete the Tutor Training Application form for submission to Cycling Ireland.
Course Venue: Tutor Training course will take place in Dublin on the specified dates detailed above. Exact venue to be confirmed.
Course Fee: Cycling Ireland will make a contribution to the cost of Tutor Training on behalf of each candidate, however candidates will be expected to pay to the remaining balance. Course fee will depend on the number of course candidates and will be confirmed as soon as possible. Should you wish to get an idea of indicative costs please contact me for further information.

Applicants for Tutor Training must hold a minimum of Level One Coaching Qualification which has been completed and certified in Full.
