Entries have officially opened for An Post Ras na mBan, Ireland’s top stage race for women which takes place between September 9^th and 13^th.

This year’s event will again be based in the picturesque village of Sneem, County Kerry with central accommodation and race HQ at the four-star Sneem Hotel.

The entry form can be filled out online at the official website www.rasnamban.com.

A separate booking form for accommodation at Sneem Hotel is also now available on the race website.

Race organiser Valerie Considine has received enquiries from teams and riders across the globe and this year’s event is set to again feature a mix of top professional riders and foreign teams pitted against the cream of local club squads.

“We’ve had calls from as far afield as Australia for this year’s race which is already shaping up to build on the success of last year’s expansion from three to five days.

“The move to five days really captured the imagination and we’ve done a lot of work on a route that will give something for everyone and include sections made famous by an Ras Tailteann, the Tour of Ireland and the Nissan Classic.”
