50% Discounted Testing with A1 Coaching for Cycling Ireland Members

Cycling Ireland are delighted to announce that they will be teaming up with A1 Coaching for the coming 2018 season by providing Cycling Ireland members with discounted physiological testing.

Ireland’s largest cycling coaching company, A1 Coaching, provides a range of physiological tests for cyclists of all levels.

All Cycling Ireland members will be issued with a discount code that can be redeemed with A1 Coaching in the form of 50% off physiological testing at their facility in Dublin 1.

This code will be emailed to all members who have already renewed their licence, and will be included in the welcome pack on renewal for everyone else.

The physiological tests include both lactate profiling and power profiling. Lactate profiling is used to determine an athlete’s threshold power (FTP) and training zones. Power profiling gives athletes a complete breakdown of their fitness and ability over key power durations.

All testing is carried out by in-house expert physiologists who are dedicated to providing the best service possible.

Speaking about the 2018 affiliation former international cyclist and A1 Coaching’s Chief Operations Officer, Aaron Buggle, said – “As the Irish cycling scene continues to grow, it is important to us that we support it and encourage others to get the most out of their sport.
