Brian Nugent Named Phillips Manager of the Month

Philips Lighting today, 8^th March 2017, named Brian Nugent, Technical Director for Cycling Ireland, as winner of the Philips Lighting Sports Manager of the Month for February 2017.

At the UCI Cycling Track World Cup in Cali Columbia, Mark Downey won gold in the Points Race, while he also won silver with his partner Felix English in the Madison Race. Lydia Gurley won Bronze in the women’s Scratch Race, completing the most successful World Cup ever for Cycling Ireland.

A week later at the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Los Angles, Mark Downey and Felix English went one place better won Ireland’s first ever Gold medal in the Madison Race.
