The planned EGM that had been scheduled to take place on June 18th has been cancelled and all proposed changes will be dealt with at the AGM on November 12th. The specific motivation to hold the EGM was for that meeting to receive and consider the Directors Report annexed to the Annual Accounts for the 2015 Financial Year, and to make changes to the Memo and Articles of Cycling Ireland. However, on reviewing the current Memos and Articles it was noted that certain items, including finance, must only be discussed at the AGM of the company. Hence Cycling Ireland was left with no option but to defer the placing of the 2015 audited accounts before the membership until the 2016 AGM scheduled for the 12th November.
