Please note that there has been a change of date to the 2018 Cycling Ireland Track Cycling Senior Championships. The event was initially scheduled to take place on the 25-26 August, but will now take place a week earlier on the 18-19 August.

The Track Cycling Commission of Cycling Ireland host several national championship events over the year, with the senior races spanning three weekends of competition. The championships that are affected will see riders compete for the national titles in the Sprint, Individual Pursuit, Time Trial and Scratch Race, and are hotly contested each year.

The reason for the move is to minimise potential complications should there be road closures or accommodation shortage in light of the pope's visit that weekend.
