The Cycling Ireland AGM just around the corner, taking place in the Sheraton Hotel, Athlone, on Saturday 1st November.

It is important to note that the final date for motions to be brought up this year is 5pm on Wednesday 24th September.

If there is something in the rules that you believe should be changed, this is your opportunity to submit your motion through your cycling club. Each club is given votes at the AGM based on the size of the club, and the commissions are given two votes each.

These are volunteers who are the experts in the various fields, and the AGM is an opportunity to hear what has happened this year, and be part of guiding where you would like to see your sport going next year. Any Cycling Ireland member can turn up at these meetings, and once you are a current member you can vote on matters.
