Cycling Ireland extend condolences on death of Peter Thornton

Cycling Ireland was saddened to hear of the passing of Peter Thornton who passed away after a long illness.

Peter was a great friend to Irish Cycling. He served as Treasurer of the South East Region, Cycling Munster and Cycling Ireland. Peter was also instrumental in bringing Ras Mumhan to Killorglin and making it an international race bringing many top riders to the event.

Cycling Ireland would like to pass on their condolences to Peter’s family.
