Cycling Ireland is now welcoming expressions of interest from clubs hoping to host National Championships in 2025 and 2026. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your club and local area. Cycling Ireland is looking for hosts for all National Championship events in 2026. Currently two events for 2025 have already been assigned: Youth Road Race, Time Trial and Criterium will be hosted by Sliabh Luachra CC. Cyclocross will be hosted by Ballinasloe CC.

Off Road

Cross Country National Championships will take place on July 19-20 in 2025, with no date fixed for 2026 yet. Downhill National Championships will take place July 19-20 in 2025, with no date fixed for 2026 yet. Enduro National Championships will take place August 9-10, with no date fixed for 2026 yet. Cyclocross National Championships will be hosted by Ballinasloe CC, co. Galway, January 11-12 2025, and will be hosted in Ulster on January 10-11 2026.

Road

Senior Road National Championships will be hosted in Leinster on June 28-29 in 2025. It will be hosted in Connacht in 2026. Masters Road National Championships will be hosted in Ulster on September 13-14 in 2025. It will be hosted in Munster in 2026. Youth Road National Championships will be hosted by Sliabh Luachra CC, co. Cork on August 16-17 2025. It will be hosted in Ulster in 2026. Senior Criterium National Championships will be hosted in Munster in 2025 and Leinster in 2026, with no fixed date for either yet. Hill Climb National Championships will be hosted in Connacht in 2025 and in Ulster in 2026, with no fixed date for either yet. Gravel National Championships currently holds ‘demonstration status’, but will seek expression of interest for 2025 and 2026. More information on the application process can be found here.
