The dates and venues for youth commission selection events are as follows:
- 31st March - PJ Logan Cup - Island Wheelers
- 13th & 14th April - Ras na nÓg - Drogheda Wheelers
- 4th & 5th May - Kanturk 3 Day - Kanturk Cycling Club

Secondly in relation to the youth championships this year it was the turn of Connacht to host the event. However as no club were available to host the event, it was then asked if a Munster club could host as Munster was the next province on the rota. As no club was available, Lakeside Wheelers Mullingar offered to host and so that was how and why Lakeside Wheelers Mullingar has been selected to host the youth championships for 2019.
