Cyclists wanted for new Tour de France movie to be filmed in Dublin and Wicklow.

Over 120 cyclists are wanted to re create the 1998 Tour De France in the upcoming feature film “The Racer”.

The film is centered around the Grand Departure of the Tour de France in Ireland in 1998 and tells the fictional story of Belgian rider Dom Chabol over those few days. He has been one of the best domestiques on the Tour for the last 20 years. He understands it's a sacrificial role but he secretly harbours a desire to wear the yellow jersey just once before his career is over.

Blinder Films are delighted to be shooting the upcoming cycling drama feature film THE RACER this summer with Irish talent Kieron J. Walsh directing (JUMP, FINDING JOY, WHEN BRENDAN MET TRUDY) in locations in Dublin and Wicklow.
