Damien Duggan to Chair the Off-Road Commission

Damien Duggan has stepped up to take on the vacant post of Chair of the Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission.

There had been no nominations for the role of Chair at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held on Saturday 21 January 2017.

Damien, who is well known within the cycling community, has competed in cross-country, downhill, enduro, and cyclo-cross both within Ireland and beyond. He has been working in the cycling industry for many years, formerly Head of International Marketing for ChainReaction Cycles and more recently with Spin11 custom cycling clothing.

Having great commercial experience within marketing and business development, as well as team management, Damien is focused on building on the work the commission has achieved to date and is keen to support the volunteers in their various roles.
