Cycling Ireland is pleased to have partnered with online coach education platform, Player Development Project to bring you a live, interactive webinar exploring some concepts around how, we as coaches, can create the ultimate learning environment for our riders.
The first webinar will focus on Representative Learning Design (RLD) which is an emerging concept in coaching. RLD encourages coaches to consider the real performance environment of their sport, in our case Cycling.
The ideas support coaches to plan training and practice drills that mirror actual cycling practices in both recreational and competitive settings. The aim is to develop riders confidence and their abilities in any given situation.
