In 2017 Cycling Ireland received a grant from the Dormant Accounts fund through Sport Ireland. The aim of the funding is to support sport and physical activity across Ireland. This year Cycling Ireland supported over 1100 children, teenagers and adults on programmes, courses, camps and other cycling initiatives across all disciplines of cycling. We have worked with a variety of clubs, coaches, youth and community groups as well as local sports partnerships to provide opportunities for individuals and groups to access cycling.

One of the groups that we supported was Céim Ar Chéim (Step by Step), a Community based Probation & Welfare Project based in Moyross, Co.Limerick.
