With the growth of the mountain bike discipline Enduro over the past number of years, Cycling Ireland intend to officially recognise Enduro and include it in their technical rules. These will provide guidance for Enduro event organisers as well as allowing for the holding of an official Enduro Irish National Championship.
In accordance with current technical rules regarding National Championships, a demo event for an Enduro National Championship will be held in 2017 with the first Irish Enduro National Championship to be held in 2018.
Cycling Ireland has been working closely with current event organisers and the Off Road Commission to formulate a set of rules for Enduro events. These rules can be viewed HERE.
