HER Outdoor Sports Week


August 12th to 19th is HER Outdoors Week, aiming to get women and girls engaging with outdoor sport, and highlighting opportunities for women and girls to get involved in outdoor physical activities.

 

We have a whole range of activities across the country this week, aimed solely at women and girls.

 

Monday 12th August, 6.30pm

Community Bike Ride. 

Rossmore Coffee Doc, Rossmore Park

The route will join the cycle path and then on to the Ulster Canal Greenway and cycle to Sam’s Bridge for a wee coffee/ice-cream stop before returning back to Rossmore Park. 

This is a FREE event. 

What you need.. a bicycle, helmet and water.

Lagan Valley Cycling Club

Women and girls cycling event followed by some social with fruit and juice. This is open to all ladies and girls (8 years plus) with all types of bikes.
