Strong Irish Team Embark on the Final World Cup of the Season, in Cali

Cycling Ireland has entered a large team in next weekend’s UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Cali, Colombia. This is the third and final World Cup on the Track Cycling 2014/15 calendar, with more valuable Olympic qualification points available.

Racing begins on Friday with the Men and Women’s Team Pursuit Squads competing, the Men’s Team will see Martyn Irvine and Ryan Mullen back in force.  This World Cup will not feature any of the Class 1 additional events that were featured in London last month, meaning the focus will be solely on Olympic class events. The World Cup runs from 16th – 18th January.
