Irish Team not to compete in ZLM this weekend

The Irish Cycling Team will not be competing in the ZLM this weekend. A number of crashes in the Tour of Flanders on the 11th April and the Cote de Picarde on the 15th April left the Irish Team with just three riders, out of the nine pre-entered riders, fit to race this weekend. The UCI rules state that each team requires a minimum of four starters, which means that out of the six riders entered and three reserve riders, the team cannot be filled.
