Irish Team to Compete in the Second Nations Cup

This weekend will see Cycling Ireland’s U23 Team compete in the second Nations Cup of the 2016 season, the Tour of Flanders on the 9th April. Ireland will be once again fielding a strong team, with this being the second Nations Cup of three in which the Irish will participate. Results in the nations cup is one way by which the number of riders fielded by a nation in the U23 World Championships can be determined. The riders competed in the first round, Gent Wevelgem in March, and will race in the ZLM Roompot Tour next weekend. The Tour of Flanders is a 166.7km race that takes place in the Flanders region of Belgium on the 9th April.
