Governing Body for Cycling (Road, Track, MTB, Para, BMX) and associated
disciplines on the island of Ireland. Cycling is recognised as a priority sport
in the National Sports Policy and is one of Ireland’s most popular sporting
activities with an estimated 250,000 people participating on a regular basis.
In addition, cycling is a popular form of transport with 9.8% of the population
using pedal power as a means of transport.
