The 2014 Junior Tour is not even a month old and with numerous successful showings of the hour long Highlights program on Setanta Sports and Premier Sports UK which was produced by Irish Sports Network.
News has broken through that Irelands Terrestrial TV station, TG4 will be showing the event also on September 3rd at 8pm.
This is indeed a massive boost for the publicising of Cycling in general and showcasing the best of Irish Junior Racing on the roads of County Clare.
TG4 is a public service broadcaster for Irish Language speakers but also airs programs in English also. It is available to 98% of homes in Ireland through digital terrestrial television, Saorview and is also available Internationally through the TG4 Player. The channel has a reported daily viewership of 800,000 whch accounts for 3% share of the National Television Market.
Each year the channel broadcasts the Tour de France Live with Irish Commentary and will also be broadcasting La Vuelta Espana live also, which highlights the massive viewership for the Junior Tour when the program airs during La Vuelta on September 3rd at 8pm.
