KERRY GROUP RAS MUMHAN 4 Day International Cycle Race is now just over 4 weeks away.



Two Hundred Senior Riders representing forty Teams from Ireland, Scotland, England and the Netherlands will go to the line on Good Friday March 25th in Killorglin Co. Kerry for a 3.15pm start. Saturdays stage 2 in Kenmare will have an 11am start. Sunday in Waterville will start at 11.15am and the final stage on Monday morning will go to the line at 10am.



So far seven teams have accepted Invitations from the organizing committee. They are Ireland Under 23, Scotland Under 23, Surrey (UK), Team Moda Anon (UK) , Look Mom No Hands (UK) and from the Netherlands come our usual visitors, WV Noord Holland and West Fresia.



Applications to enter Teams are now open and will be accepted from Teams of 5 riders. Priority will be given



To Teams with the highest number of A1 riders .Teams may not contain more than two A3 riders. A maximum of forty teams may enter the race. Entry opened last Monday 21st February and close on Sunday 6th March.



The full list of competitors will be published on March 9th. Rider changes will not be permitted after 12 noon on Monday 21st March.



The Prize Fund for this year is similar to last year, with prizes to the value of over €7,000 on offer over the weekend. The prize list includes the first ten over the line on the stages, as well as separate Under 23 prizes on the stages. The first twelve on the overall classification, as well as prizes overall for the King of The Hills, Points, Under 23 and Senior 2 Competitions. There are also Primes on the various stages, as well as a prize for the most combatitive rider each day.
