The Summer of 2015 has proved to be a busy one for the Kerry Youth Cycling Initative.

Following on from the MTB day out at Ballyhoura Mountains in July the youth riders of the Initative have toured Valentia Island by bike organised by Killorglin CC, followed by an evening of Watersport activities.

Kingdom CC introduced a Youth Stage on their Tour of Kerry which took riders around the outskirts of Tralee Town.

In August, Team iBike & Kingdom CC organised a Treasure Hunt in the beautiful landscape of Glanageenty where the youth riders spent the afternoon searching for clues under the watchful eye of 1991 World Mountain Running Champion John Lenihan and finished the evening with a BBQ.

The KYCI has a number of other social activities planned for the coming months placing the emphasis on youth riders socialising with one another making friendships whilst leaving the competitive edges to the race meetings.
