On Monday July 6th 2015, 35 young & enthusiastic road racers gathered at Ballyhoura Mountain for a days fun.
Kerry Youth Cycling Initative welcomed riders from Killarney CC, Kingdom CC, Sliabh Luachra CC & Killorglin CC to experience a days mountain biking on the trails in the Co Limerick country side.
Most of the kids had never experienced mountain biking before but judging by the smiles on their faces after a days fun it certainly won't be their last !!
Not even the rain on the day could dampen there spirits as they happily slid around in the mud. The day, hosted by Killarney CC proved to be a huge success with many riders chatting and getting to know one another without being in a racing environment.
