PRESS RELEASE: Lucan GP rescheduled to Saturday September 16th 2017
There has been a lot of discussion
recently about rebalancing the road racing calendar and scheduling more events
in the later part of the season. In
consultation and with approval from Cycling Ireland and Cycling Leinster LCRC
have decided to reschedule the Lucan GP.
The race will move from the previously
advertised date of March 18th to September 16th. The Cycling Ireland online calendar has been
updated to reflect the change of date. At
this stage all other event details including location and start time remain the
same.
There are no other road race events
in the country that day so we hope the event will be as well supported as in
previous editions and that we can run a full programme of races for all
categories.
