The NEW Vitesse EVO frameset has been developed in conjunction with the An Post Chain Reaction Professional race team who have been training and racing on these for the full 2014 race season.
We have developed the frames to meet the exacting requirements of professional racers who demand the very best. We have increased lateral and torsional stiffness to improve power transfer whilst retaining a high degree of comfort through a narrower 27.2mm seatpost and slender seatstays. After early season testing and racing the team were unanimous in their appreciation of what we delivered and in turn they have repaid Vitus Bikes by piloting the new Vitesse EVO to a string of victories throughout the 2014 race season; these included the Irish National Road Race title, An Post Ras stage win, Herald Sun Tour stage win and ToB KOM title to name but a few!
The Vitesse EVO frameset is UCI approved and is fully compatible with both mechanical and electronic groupsets. We have added a BB386EVO bottom bracket standard that will accommodate the vast majority of cranksets on the market; this also helps to reduce weight whilst increasing lateral stiffness due to the increased BB shell width.
