Thank you to everyone who participated and helped out with the first round of the clubs Hill Climb series. We have a very special "Hill Climb Stage Race" coming up with the Ulster and National hill climb champs over two days at the end of this month. 
First is the ULSTER HILLCLIMB CHAMPS, please note the 
CHANGE OF DATE!!!!!!
The Ulster hill climb champs will now take place Saturday 29th September. Start time 12:00
This is a traditional hill climb type event - Very short and VERY VERY STEEP!!!

The last round in our hillclimb series will take place the very next day just 5m away, make the most of both events by staying the night in a local hotel or B&B ( https://www.ionainn.co.uk/ )

The IRISH HILL CLIMB CHAMPS - Sunday 30th September. Start time 13:00. This event is set to be an almighty spectacle. Riders will tackle the legendary climb of "Scalp Mountain" (the Donegal Scalp) and the famous PRIVATE road up to the two masts at the top. With gradients in excess of 25% and sections as long as 300m with averages of 21% this once in a generation opportunity to challenge yourself on this closed private road is not to be missed.

NOTE - This is a private road and riders have only been grated permission to ride this during the championships only. No pre race recon rides are permitted.

The winners of these events will be crowned Ulster and Irish hill climb champions. 2nd and 3rd in each event will also have the honour of standing on the podium. As an added bonus to ensure everyone has a prize to fight for, Foyle CC are awarding prizes for whoever finishes 5th, 10th, 15th and 20th in these events.
We will also have a G.C. prize for riders who tackle both events, any non Ulster riders taking part in the Ulster Champs will not qualify for medals but are welcome to take part.

Presentation of awards will be at the Abercorn Bar Derry where there will be a "worlds party" and Foyle CC social event, celebration of the Hillclimb winners and the UCI Elite Mens road race finale on a big screen.
