Orwell Wheelers, with a huge tradition of road racing are holding a 2 day stage race close to Dublin in East Wicklow June 2/3rd. The headquarters will be in the Beehive Public house where all 3 stages will start and finish.
Stage 1 is a relative flat TT of 11km and first rider will be off at 10am. The earlier you sign on the more rest you will get for the late afternoon stage.
Stage 2 is a Kermesse race starting at 4pm. This will be 10 laps of an 8km circuit. There will be a KOH on designated laps and likewise hot spot time bonus laps.This will be a very exciting stage.
Stage 3 will be an early start at 9am with 4 laps of a rolling circuit of 25km. There will be a KOH each lap and also bonus hot spots available.
This event is open to all A123 junior and women. GC will be awarded in every category with the overall winning receiving the Noel O Neill Trophy. €1200 plus in prizes
