Westport Covey Wheelers are hosting the first Stage Race of the year on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March. Ras Mhaigh Eo is synonymous with Westport having featured the race since 1954 however this years format as a 2 day on St. Patricks Weekend is exciting as it incorporates 3 stages over the weekend leaving enough time to enjoy the festivities in one of Irelands favourite holiday towns.
The main race is an A2/A3/Jr/Ladies Stage Race but we are also hosting an A4 80km Road Race on the Sunday and a selection of Youth races including a Time Trial and Road race on the same day.
There will be the full range of jerseys on offer including the yellow overall winner, green sprinters jersey, climbers polka dot, junior white jersey and lady's pink jersey.
Registration is by online only along with full race details, route maps etc. Register early to avoid disappointment as numbers will be limited and no entries will be accepted on the day.
