Drogheda Wheelers are delighted to announce details of this years Ras na n'Óg youth stage race.
This years event will take place on Sat/Sun April 18th/19th.
We are also delighted to announce a brand new headquarters this year:
Bellewstown Racecourse in Co Meath will play host to the event.
Already on the Cycling Ireland grant aided events list we are thrilled to have Gery Cumiskey VW Commercials returning to us as a sponsor,and also the IVCA have come on board as joint title sponsor,a real example of the older members of our sport giving to the youngest members.
Sign on will open on Sat morning at 8.45am for a 10.30 am start for Stage 1 which will see all three categories racing on a new 1.8 km crit circuit.
Stage 2 on Sat afternoon will have a 2pm start again on a new 6.6 km circuit in Bellewstown and this is a real tough one.
Stage 3 on Sunday morning will have a 10.30 start based again at the racecourse but will race on most of previous years Sun circuit with a few small changes.
Entry forms will be available for download from www.droghedawheelers.ie from Fri 27th and riders are asked to get them in asap.
Final presentation will also take place at Bellewstown Racecourse on Sunday at 1.30pm
