Although you might be mistaken for thinking we’re still in Winter, Spring has actually arrived and with that children all over the country are getting on their bikes through our Sprocket Rocket programme. Sprocket Rocket is a fun course where children aged 7 to 11 are taught FUNdamental cycling skills by certified Sprocket Rocket Instructors. It is ideal for learning and developing skills and can be delivered by clubs, teachers, parents or anyone else involved with young cyclists. Since February of this year we have had over 250 kids registered for Sprocket Rocket which is being delivered by dedicated volunteers in the following clubs and groups: Team SophieMul (Limerick), Portumna CC (Galway), Elysium Cyclo (Kildare), Foyle CC (Derry), White Mountain Biking (Antrim), IMBRC (Dublin), Dromore CC (Down), Shimna Wheelers (Down) and South Tipp CC (Tipperary).
