The Junior Track World Championships take place in Aigle, Switzerland starting on Wednesday the 15th of August and running until Sunday the 19th.
A team of 4 Irish riders has been selected to compete at the UCI World Cycling Centre, the team is made up of two male riders and two female riders; Shay Donley, Shane Higgins, Lara Gillespie and Gabriella Homer.
Last year Xeno Young and JB Murphy medalled for Ireland in Montichiari, Italy.
