After much anticipation, SQS Digital Labs is proud to announce the 2018 “SQS Tech Team Cycle Challenge” in aid of NSPCC Northern Ireland. This event follows on from the highly successful cycle challenges held in 2016 and 2017, which saw over 20 mighty teams from the thriving software and technology sector in Northern Ireland taking on a gruelling 80km cycle and raising over £50K to date for local children who are supported by NSPCC in Northern Ireland.

The unique event will take place on Saturday 12th May 2018, supported by our Event Ambassador John Madden and Event Champion Philip Corr. We are also fortunate to have the advice and support of Gordon Parker. So be sure to Save the Date!

We are delighted and privileged to welcome The Titanic Quarter Cycling Club as our Event Partner. The event is open to small and large corporates alike and we encourage team participation from Cycling Clubs. Growing bigger and better with the option of taking on either the 80km or a new 40km route, both event routes starts in Ballygally, where riders can fly up the scenic coastal stretch, passing through the villages of Glenarm and Broughshane - while incorporating a testing team “time trial” section and the introduction of a
gruelling hill climb challenge, appealing to those with a competitive streak. Chips supplied!

The funds raised will help support the NSPCC’s vital services across Northern Ireland which includes the NSPCC Childline helpline operations in Belfast & Foyle, the therapeutic work for those who have experienced abuse, and the NSPCC ‘Speak Out Stay Safe’ programme which is aiming to reach every local primary school.

Registration will follow soon, watch this space!
