The Bradley Renault Giro D’Galway
is an epic two day, four stage, 360km charity cycle tour of county Galway and
is taking place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th October
2015. The Giro loops around the county
with stage stops in Clifden, Tuam, Portumna and Gort. It finishes at the
massive #TeamGiro finish line Party in the Bradley Renault showrooms on the Tuam
Rd in Galway city. The Giro D’Galway
raises vital funds for youth mental health charity Jigsaw Galway.
“Last year’s Bradley Renault Giro D’Galway was an incredible experience for everyone involved and it’s going to be even better this year”, said Justin McDermott of Jigsaw Galway, “You will experience the once in a lifetime chance of living like as a cycling pro. You will have two long days in the saddle, but you will also be overnighting in the team hotel, the Ard Ri Hotel in Tuam Co Galway, have Renault support vehicles throughout, loads of Giro D’Galway branded gear, crowds to welcome to at each stage stop and the euphoria of completing this wonderful cycling challenge all in support of young people’s mental health. This is also the perfect opportunity for an end of season Sporting Challenge and perfect preparation for anyone who is contemplating going long next year with their triathlon racing or taking on a bigger cycling challenge at home or abroad”
It’s free to register for the Bradley Renault Giro D’Galway, and all participants are asked to fundraise / donate or be sponsored €500 to take part. Each registered cyclist will receive a Bradley Renault Giro D’Galway goodie bag, branded cycle gear, all their accommodation and food during the Giro D’Galway is provided, as well as training supports and advice throughout.
