On Saturday 21st January 2017 over 60 Cycling Ireland members attended the Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission AGM at the Carlton Hotel in Dublin. Following the AGM the following commission was appointed:

Following the appointment of the new committee the decision was made to enter a team of one rider to the Cyclo-cross World Championships which take place in Bieles, Luxembourg on the 28-29 January 2017. Junior National Champion JB Murphy from Kilcullen Murphy Surveys will be competing in the Junior event at 11am local time on the 28th January. Travelling with him will be Liam Walker and Donal O’Brien as support staff. Murphy also competed in the UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships in France last October.
