National Youth Academy Provincial Coach (Voluntary Position)

Cycling Ireland is looking to appoint 4 Youth Academy Provincial Coaches in the first phase of implementing a Cycling Ireland National Youth Academy in Ireland. The 4 areas being recruited are Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht.

The role will involve significant coaching delivery from entry into the sport at Youth Club level through to the development of Provincial Academies of development and racing feeding into the Cycling Ireland Performance Programme.

Cycling Ireland would like to invite coaches (minimum of Cycling Ireland Level One in Cycling Coaching) to apply. We would like to hear from innovative coaches who want to motivate and develop youth cycling across the range of cycling disciplines.

The successful coaches will represent Cycling Ireland on a provincial level under the direction of the Cycling Ireland Youth Academy Review Board and Provincial Academy Board(s). The successful coach will need to be highly motivated and able to drive the implementation of Cycling Irelands Youth Cycling Academy programme.

Applicants should either have experience and qualifications in Cycling Coaching, or

be able to provide evidence of relevant experience in a range of cycling activities.

Applicants will be expected to gain all appropriate Coaching qualifications (Cycling Ireland Level 1.5 Discipline Specific Coach) within a pre-determined probationary period.
