The Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission is seeking expressions of
interest from male and female riders to compete in the 2019 European
Cross-country (XCO) Championships which are being held in Brno, Czech
Rep 27-28 July 2019. https://www.mtbbrno.eu/program
A maximum of two riders would be sent to the event (less if riders do not meet the criteria) along with support staff. The race categories would be Junior, Under 23 and Elite riders.
Criteria
The rider must have a current UCI competition membership licence with the country code “IRL”.
The rider should be displaying commitment to cross-country mountain bike racing by competing outside of Ireland during the 2019 season. Results should show high position finishes in either Elite, Expert or Junior categories (Top 10 results).
Those interested in putting their name forward need to send an email to secretary@offroadcyclingireland.ie and
- state that you are available to compete in the European championships,
- you have a valid passport and,
- attaching your cycling CV.
